NYU Master’s in Marketing: Student Perspective

Hi, I’m a current student at NYU’s Masters of Science in Integrated Marketing. Today I want to take you through a quick student’s perspective of the program. This is ideal for those thinking about going back to school — grad school style with an emphasis in marketing! And my apologies this isn’t a high tech video — I know I’m marketing professional — but working full time with classes part time while in finals mode — well this is what I can offer for now. First, let’s take a look at the program. The main difference of this program and a MBA is that all of these grad level classes focus on marketing. It focuses marketing as a key element of business to support a company’s overall growth. Since business strategy, growth and innovation is so well integrated into all of these classes — students consider this degree to be the fast track to CMO! But a quick disclaimer that I’m not promising this and neither is NYU. A look at the curriculum — everyone is required to take a list of core courses including Finance, campaign management, strategic planning, digital marketing and management. Now some of you might have some or none of this experience already but this is a great start to the program and important for our careers. After your core courses you get to pick from a variety of classes that are categorized into 3 concentrations: brand management, digital marketing or marketing analytics. Some of these classes overlap and it’s great to have the option to emphasize on a

MBA Technology Management: Role of Information Technology within Organizations

Richard Swafford, MBA MIS 6110 Management Information Systems Focuses on providing an understanding of the nature of the digital firm and its key issues in organization and management. This course will prepare students to face the challenges involved in managing a firm, understand problem solving technologies, design business processes, and create management policies in order to implement change. (3 credit hours) Transcript of the Lesson So, all of us are aware of how technology has impacted us on an everyday basis just in our personal lives. The use of cell phones, the use of other kinds of technology, even bank ATM machines for example, are examples of technology that have impacted our everyday lives. And it is interesting to consider how much of our everyday activities are directly impacted by some form of technology. From an organizational perspective as we talked about in lesson one, the role of IT within the organization has dramatically grown and developed over the years to the point, now many organizations would struggle a great deal to sustain their business without some form of technology. So from that perspective, technology continues to advance and continues to grow and really the end, at this point, is still not necessarily foreseeable. So from that perspective, understanding that the planning and developing of technology systems really is a two to three years process at most, given the changes that occur in technology on a routine basis.

Nose Job Plastic Surgery Gone Wrong

www.rhinoplastyspecialist.com Rhinoplasty Specialist Dr. Paul S. Nassif, of “Dr. 90210″ and Spalding Drive Plastic Surgery in Beverly Hills, performs a revision rhinoplasty procedure on a young female to fix the work of another plastic surgeon who left her with a deformed nose. Perfecting surgery with this three-dimensional structure (the nose) takes years to master and continues to improve. Little did we know that rhinoplasty maneuvers that were used three years ago could cause disastrous results today. Rhinoplasty surgery is forever evolving! My fellowship director, J. Regan Thomas, MD, told me something that Ill never forget you havent learned anything about rhinoplasty until youve performed at least a thousand procedures and followed them for many years. This statement epitomizes why fellowships are so valuable. Some of the needed experience and potential pitfalls are circumvented by first hand observing and learning the analysis, judgment, techniques, complication management and most importantly, results from a seasoned rhinoplasty surgeon. This is why I super-specialized in rhinoplasty surgery during my fellowship in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. The training catapults you years ahead of many other surgeons that arent fortunate to have post-graduate training. Many cosmetic surgeons are taught that aggressive cartilage removal is a procedure of the past. Todays concept is less is more. Less cartilage excision, cartilage repositioning, camouflage techniques
